Join me and other MyTeaPal club members to taste, compare, and discuss these teas together! 2016 Pasha Dashu Early Spring Sheng Pu'er Tea Cake: Produced in early April 2016 from Menghai Large Leaf Variety tea trees growing in the Pasha region, Menghai County. The source describes a well-forested environment with seed-grown trees around a century old, harvested to a one bud with two or three leaves standard. The tea is noted for its sweet, full-bodied liquor, predominantly floral aroma, and excellent endurance across many infusions. Since production, this tea has been carefully stored in Chengdu by producer and collector You Cai, providing a shared storage history for comparison with the other teas in this month's selection. 2016 Yiwu Huangtian Early Spring Sheng Pu'er Tea Cake: Produced in early April 2016 from Qun Ti Zhong (Heirloom Variety) tea trees growing near Huangtian Village in Yiwu. The source describes material harvested primarily from smaller tea trees on lower slopes, producing a liquor that is soft and sweet with little bitterness or astringency and a lighter body than the other teas in this month's selection. Since production, this tea has been carefully stored in Chengdu by producer and collector You Cai, providing a shared storage history for comparison with the other teas in this month's selection.
