Tea events

Yes. MyTeaPal's events are free. Each event page says what it involves, such as which Tea Club teas a tasting is about.

Anyone with a MyTeaPal account. In-person events are for people 18 or older.

Going saves your spot: you get the join link or the address, and a reminder email the day before and an hour before. Interested keeps the event on your list without a spot, and you can switch to Going while registration is open and there's room. Official online events with an end time accept RSVPs until they end; other events close at the start. Either way, we email you if the event changes or is canceled.

As soon as you're confirmed Going, on the event page and in your confirmation email. Reminder emails also include it. If the host approves each guest, they come once you're approved.

On the event, tap Going, then Remove my RSVP. Tap Interested again to remove an Interested response. No penalty, just cancel early so someone else can have the spot.

No. Anyone is welcome. Each tasting is about teas from one Tea Club month: members brew along with theirs, and anyone else can join in to listen and learn, or brew a similar tea.

The host sees your name, @handle and avatar, never your email address. Everyone sees how many people are going. You choose who else sees you're going: TeaPals and other attendees, just your TeaPals, or only you. Other attendees see you only if you're both confirmed guests, 18 or older, and chose to be seen. Your note to the host is only for the host.

They're removed with your account.
