About this event
Join us for a special live virtual tour of Letters from the Tea Mountains (茶山来信), an exhibition in Beijing exploring the remarkable diversity, history, and craftsmanship of Southern Fujian oolong tea. Our guest speaker, Li Ran (李染), founder of Yizhuo Tea Research Studio and co-organizer of the exhibition, will guide us through a collection of 60 tea plant specimens, 22 historical tea publications, and displays documenting traditional oolong tea-making techniques and the conservation of native tea varieties in Anxi, Fujian. Discover the stories behind Tie Guan Yin and other Southern Fujian oolongs, learn how tea plant varieties and craftsmanship shape flavor, and explore an exhibition that brings together more than a decade of conservation and tea-making research. We'll also have time for live questions and conversation with Li Ran.
