Description
Tie Guan Yin is one of the most famous teas exported from China and an exemplary of Chinese oolongs. It has a history of around 300 years, and its varietal shares the same name. Traditionally, Tie Guan Yin is roasted to a great extent for long term storage, which has a nice balance of nutty and floral taste with a rich body and lingering sweetness. With the advancement of storage methods and the market’s preference, the traditional style has lost its dominance and is more difficult to be found. Instead, the modern style of Tie Guan Yin like our Orchid Tie Guan Yin had become more widespread.
