Description
Mi Lan Xiang means honey orchid aroma in Chinese, referencing its uniquely sweet honey aftertaste with a bright orchid aroma. It’s the most common dancong oolong tea on the market, because its production quantity is the highest among all dancong cultivars in Chaozhou. This is a relatively traditional Mi Lan Xiang dancong, which is moderately oxidized, rather than the more modern ones that are greener and lightly oxidized. This tea’s picking standard is bud and two to three tea leaves of Mi Lan cultivar. Through oxidation and multiple roastings, the processing brings out the tea's delicious honey orchid taste. The dry leaves are tight and dark brown, and the liquor color is bright golden yellow. It is mellow and deep with long-lasting aftertaste, and it can be steeped many times.
