- This Jasmine Scented Tibetan Tea is a fusion of Tibetan dark tea and the fragrance of jasmine — a notable deviation from the norm, since jasmine is traditionally used to scent Sichuan green teas rather than dark teas. Its base was harvested in early April 2018 and finished processing that September. In July 2020, the tea was scented with premium jasmine flowers, each scenting phase timed to the flowers’ night-time blooming so the leaves absorb their most potent, aromatic essence. A careful drying afterward locks in the delicate jasmine aroma while balancing the tea’s moisture for longevity, letting the jasmine’s light, refreshing notes complement the dark tea’s depth.

The kitchen smells like Jasmine. What a lovely tea. Very much enjoyed drinking this and I wish I had more. It was the perfect blend of Jasmine and tea flavor.

Tibetan B is definitely more “jasmine-y” than its A counterpart. It has more of a jasmine aroma that you find with jasmine green teas. However, it’s not as complex as Tibetan A with its darker notes which balances out… more

Exceptionally sweet jasmine honey as it cools with some wet wood, slight astringency and smoke/tobacco or something along those lines. I’ll also try it with fatty oat milk in lieu of yak butter. It should pair very well.… more
