Water Temperature: 100˚C / 212˚F. Rinse: Rinse for 5 seconds before the first infusion. Gongfu style: 5g : 120-150ml. Steep 30s for 3 infusions, then adjusting the steeping time each round based on desired intensity. Western style: 5g : 500ml, 2min + 1min per infusion Boiling: 5g : 1000ml, 2min + 1min each time
Description
Built from Yiwu old-tree, Yunnan large-leaf spring material harvested in 2025 and fermented the same year, this shou Pu’er leans into the region’s classic character: aroma that rises and a texture that feels gentle and supple. From the first steep, it aims for richness without weight—a tea that’s comforting and full, yet never heavy-handed. Da Zhuo’s fermentation approach uses a scientifically balanced microbial culture, pairing Aspergillus (black koji–type) and yeast, to guide fermentation in a cleaner, more controlled direction. Practically, that shows up as a smoother extraction and a more “complete” cup: fuller inner substance, a thicker mouthfeel, and layered aromatics that stay coherent rather than muddy. In the cup, the liquor brews a deep amber. The aroma weaves together ripe fruit, gentle fermentation sweetness, and soft aged tones. On the palate, it’s sweet, rounded, and exceptionally smooth, with a “jelly-like” silkiness and a long, comfortable throat finish that returns with steady sweetness and salivation. It’s also designed for modern life. The tea is pressed into a plum-blossom-shaped mini coin and individually packed in an eco-friendly corn-fiber bag, 5g per sachet—one brew, no mess. It shines in a thermos: add boiling water, give it a short rest, and you’ll get a thick, satisfying tea with almost zero setup.
