- Description
- This sun-dried black tea comes from the Pasha tea-growing area of Menghai County, Xishuangbanna, Yunnan, where arbor tea trees grow at approximately 1,800 meters above sea level. Harvested in April 2023, the leaves were picked to a standard of one bud and two leaves before being processed into sun-dried black tea and shaped into convenient 5 g dragon balls. According to the producer, the tea garden is situated away from residential settlements and maintained through manual weeding without pesticide applications, supporting a diverse local ecosystem. The finished tea is characterized by a rich honey-like aroma with floral and fruity notes, a bright liquor, and a sweet, full-bodied taste. Its substantial character and lasting sweetness make it a particularly interesting example of Yunnan's sun-dried black tea tradition.
