Preview tester agreement

This agreement is between you and MyTeaPal LLC (“MyTeaPal”, “we”, “us”) for access to unpublished MyTeaPal features — preview builds of the app, website, or Club, TestFlight or other invited channels, and related designs, copy, and internals we show you.

The public website and app are still covered by our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. This agreement is extra, and only for preview testers. You must be at least 18.

How you accept. You agree to this agreement by joining a MyTeaPal preview we invite you to, or by continuing to use a preview after we send you this page. If you do not agree, do not install or use the preview, and tell us so we can remove your access.

1. What you are testing

Preview software is unfinished. It may break, lose data, look different from the public product, or never ship. We can change or end a preview at any time, for you or for everyone.

Please send bugs and impressions through the channel we specify (email, TestFlight notes, Discord, or similar). Testing is voluntary; we do not pay for it.

2. Confidentiality

Confidential means unpublished features, preview builds, screenshots or recordings of unpublished UI, roadmap, ship dates we have not announced, and our conversations about those things.

You may say that you test MyTeaPal. You may discuss features that are already public. You may not post, stream, or share Confidential material, or give anyone else a preview build, without our written OK.

When a feature ships to the public product, that feature is no longer Confidential. Everything else stays Confidential while you are in the program and for 12 months after your preview access ends.

Do not reverse engineer preview builds except as needed to report a bug to us.

3. Feedback

Bug reports, ideas, and other feedback you send us become MyTeaPal’s to use without restriction or payment. You do not get ownership of the product by testing it.

4. Ending access

You or we can end your preview access at any time. Ending access does not end the confidentiality term in section 2. The public Terms of Service still apply to your ordinary MyTeaPal account and any Club subscription; this agreement does not change billing.

5. No warranty

Preview software and Confidential material are provided as-is. We do not promise that a preview feature will ship, or ship on a given date.

North Carolina law governs this agreement, excluding conflict-of-law rules. If something here cannot be enforced, the rest still applies.
