Description
Yi Hong is an umbrella term for black tea produced from Yichang and its surrounding regions. It became popular in the second half of the 19th century, when the demand for export surged. It’s known as one of "China's three famous congou black tea", together with Qi Hong and Dian Hong. As China’s black tea market expanded in the past two decades, Yi Hong became known and loved by more tea drinkers; It is the most popular black tea in Hubei province. This specific tea is from Wufeng Tujia Autonomous County, which is located in the southwest of Yichang city.
