Steeping instructions
100˚C/212˚F. Rinse once for 5-10s. Gongfu style, 1g : 25ml, 20s+10s. Western style: 1g : 80ml, 2min+1min. Also suitable for being boiled or kept in thermos at 1g : 200ml ratio.

Description
This 2013 Bulang Mountain Shou Pu'er is a well-aged, expertly fermented tea from Menghai County, one of Yunnan’s most prestigious regions for Pu’er production. Bulang Mountain is particularly renowned for its bold and robust tea character, producing Shou Pu'er with deep earthy notes, rich sweetness, and lingering complexity. Over more than a decade, this tea has developed a smooth and balanced profile, making it a wonderful choice for both daily enjoyment and long-term aging. This tea was processed by Xiangshan Tea Factory, a well-respected Pu’er producer founded in 2005 by core members of the former state-run Menghai Tea Factory (now TAETEA). Menghai Tea Factory was one of China’s four major state-run tea factories, instrumental in shaping modern Shou Pu’er fermentation techniques. Xiangshan’s proximity to TAETEA’s facility allows it to use the same pristine mountain spring water during fermentation, further ensuring exceptional quality. With its decades of expertise, Xiangshan Tea Factory has perfected the wet piling (渥堆, Wo Dui) fermentation process, resulting in a tea that is smooth, clean, and well-balanced. This traditional approach highlights the natural depth of the leaves while maintaining a richness that improves with aging. After more than 12 years of natural post-fermentation, this tea has developed greater depth and complexity. It brews into a deep reddish-brown infusion, with layered flavors that unfold over multiple steeps. Its silky texture is soft and creamy, often likened to rice soup, and the flavor is naturally sweet and clean. This Bulang Mountain Shou Pu'er is an excellent choice for daily drinking, aging, or Gong Fu Cha sessions. Its well-matured profile makes it a great introduction to aged Shou Pu’er, while its complexity will also appeal to seasoned Pu’er drinkers.
