Description
Xiangshan tea factory is a famous puerh manufacturer founded in 2005 by a few core members of the previously state-run Menghai tea factory (now TAETEA), one of Yunnan’s 4 major state-run tea factories during China’s planned economy era. It’s located right next to TAETEA’s factory and they share the same spring water for shou puerh fermentation, enabling Xiangshan to produce superb quality puerh teas along with their already sophisticated fermentation technique. This is the only loose leaf shou puerh among the 5 teas from this month, and you can start with shorter steeping time as the leaves open up more quickly than the compressed ones.
