Steeping instructions
100˚C/212˚F. Rinse once for 5-10s. Gongfu style, 1g : 25ml, 30s+10s. Western style: 1g : 80ml, 2min+1min. Also suitable for being boiled or kept in thermos at 1g : 200ml ratio.

Description
Wuliangshan, a towering mountain range known for its pristine natural environment, spans across Nanjian County and extends into the northern part of Lincang City, near the Lancang River. This tea originates from arbor trees, which are taller and more robust than small bush varieties but younger than Gushu (ancient trees). The result is a tea that combines the depth and strength of older trees with a smooth, approachable character. Among the five Shou Pu'er teas featured this month, this is the only one sourced from Lincang, one of Yunnan’s three major Pu'er-producing regions, alongside Menghai and Pu'er City. However, despite its Lincang origin, this tea was fermented in Menghai in 2010, the birthplace of Shou Pu'er. Menghai’s expertise in Wo Dui (wet piling) fermentation and its uniquely suitable water source have long made it the gold standard for producing high-quality Shou Pu'er. This tea has aged for over 15 years, during which time its character has mellowed and deepened. The fermentation process, combined with extended storage, has allowed its texture to become smoother while preserving the rich body characteristic of high-mountain Shou Pu’er. It brews into a thick and warming infusion, making it a reliable tea for both casual drinking and further aging. Pressed on December 26, 2010, this 2010 Wuliangshan Arbor Shou Pu'er offers a well-rounded experience, embodying the balance between strength and refinement that defines well-aged Shou Pu’er.
