Description
This tea’s base is an EU-certified 2013 organic Gong Mei that was exported to Canada. It was scented 6 times with osmanthus flowers and aged for 9 years, and now its osmanthus aroma has soaked into and infused with the tea leaves. Gong Mei 贡眉 directly translates to Tribute Eyebrow. It is a white tea with the picking standard being one bud and two or three leaves, making it the third grade after Bai Hao Yin Zhen (Silver Needle) and Bai Mu Dan (White Peony). Shou Mei is the fourth grade. Mount Taimu is the birthplace of Fuding Da Bai cultivar, with the mother tree Lv Xue Ya growing on the top of the mountain. The mountain is surrounded by sea on three sides and has gorgeous natural scenery, earning it the name "immortal mountain on the sea".
