I started with a little yunnan phoenix green from our tea club but the berries weren’t my vibe today. I switched to Meng Ding Guan lu to appreciate the roasted nutty. Always a fav!

The leaves remind me of the appearance of pine needles. The tea itself is a very pale green. It almost looks like water while pouring. The flavor was interesting! Different steeps… more

Tried the first of the January teas this afternoon after a long hike. Meng Ding Gan Lu A. What a lovely tea! So beautiful to see, so fragrant (even after 5 seconds!) and fresh. Makes me longing for spring even more!

I embarked on my journey with these lovely green teas. I started with this one and have since tried 2 others. This remains my favorite and is quite exquisite!
