Description
Huangshan Maofeng 黄山毛峰 (lit. Yellow Mountain Hairy Peak) is a type of baked green tea among the “Ten Most Famous Teas” in China. It’s named this way because the leaves are picked from high peaks of Mount Huangshan, and the freshly produced tea features fine white and pointed leaf tips. The dry leaves are slightly curled in shape, resembling a bird's tongue, and yellowish green in color, with fine silvery hairs and small golden leaves. After being steeped in hot water, the tea liquor is clear and slightly yellow, and the wet leaves show a vivid yellowish green color, with a mellow taste and a lingering orchid-like aroma. This product was harvested and produced at the end of March, and it is a superior grade Pre-Qingming Huangshan Maofeng.
