Sheng Puerh Vintage Comparison
Previously, we introduced young gushu sheng puerh, aged sheng puerh, and shou puerh. As we celebrate the two-year anniversary of our tea club, let’s embark on a journey through time with our Sheng Puerh Vintage Comparison — an exploration into the aging nuances of puerh. These four exceptional teas belong to the same product series as our celebrated 2009 Bulang Arbor King (Qiao Mu Wang) from our January 2023 tea club. Harvested from old arbor trees in Bulang Mountains, Menghai county, each tea shares the same origin, picking standard, processing technique, and storage environment — all aged in Chengdu since creation. The only difference between these teas is their vintage: 2012, 2014, 2018, and 2020. They offer a rare opportunity to compare the impact of time on color, aroma, flavor, and texture. Brewing with consistent parameters, you'll discern the subtle transformations unique to each vintage. As we celebrate the artistry of puerh aging, join us to discover, sip, and explore the vintage differences that time has woven into each cup.
