Description
This Bulang Arbor was produced from old arbor trees in the northeastern part of Bulang close to Pasha, so it is different from a typical Bulang sheng puerh. Oftentimes, teas from the Bulang region are known to be bold, with Lao Ban Zhang being the best example. However, its energy and bitterness can be intimidating to some beginners to sheng puerh. Besides the nature of the tea leaves being more gentle and less bitter than a typical Bulang sheng puerh, this tea has aged for 14 years since 2009, and it has developed a full body with a nice huigan, a Chinese term meaning returning sweetness after the bitterness and astringency fade away. This tea was stored in Kunming for 1 year, Guangzhou for 5 years, and then Chengdu since 2015.
